Here's my entry for day 19!
Wanted to add a skybox in COPS but Houdini kept not rendering the mountain so I scrapped it, must have made an error somewhere but COPS is unbelievably laggy on my PC so I didn't want to spend hours trying to fix it!

Rocky Peaks. My submission for Houly2020 DAY 19 Peak challenge.

Rendering with a little volumetric and low laying fogs made quite a difference.

Hope you like it.

HOULY is doing a great job of making me realise just how little Houdini I actually know!

In cartography maps are generally shaded with light from the top-left.
Lighting from the south can cause the map to not look right.
Sometimes causing relief inversion where peaks become valleys and vice versa.
