Hi there, I am new to this forum, so hi to you all.
I have a Geometry inside a SOP network that I would like to always face the camera (it's a 2D tree texture on a poly plane). I've searched everywhere in the forum and wasn't able to find anything
Thanks for your time

you can use the lookat on the object level

however I'd just make it a sprite…

My problem is this : The SOP I want to orient to the camera is part of a bigger network that defines the ground on which the trees are growing and I only want to rotate the trees, not the ground…
I didn't know sprites could be used for something else than particles
I have find info on that !!!

- Append a primitive SOP after your geometry.
- Turn on “Do Transform”
- Select the camera object as the “Lookat Object”
- Adjust the “Up-Vector” for proper orientation

Oh, you might want to ensure that each primitive has unique points (either the facet or the fuse SOP).

Thanks for the “primitive” tip ! That's really helpfull !
I am still strugling with the up-vector though ops:

Try deleting the channel expressions and setting the value to (0,1,0).

You're cards for the trees should be in the XY plane.
