Hi ya'll! I'm currently working on a project where I want a particle sim that I created on a frozen geo to follow the animated version of the geo. Since it is my first time doing this, I have not figured out how to properly do it and all the tutorials I see only show for particles that stick to the geo. How should I go about this?

I tried to make a video to show more of what I currently have here:

(sorry that the menus are wonky as I tried to overlay a screenshot with higher quality)

My shot reference: https://youtu.be/qjEqJjFfTOE?t=45 [youtu.be]

Thanks!

You might want to simplify. Instead of generating particles from smoke, just emit the particles directly from animated surface, as shown in your reference.

Ohhh I see; I will do that instead then. Thank you!
