Hi!

It seems there's a lot of documentation on distributing FLIP and Pyro simulations (e.g., PDG examples [www.sidefx.com] and Distributing simulations [www.sidefx.com]).

The documentation notes that HQueue only supports DOP-based workflows.

If I have a hair or cloth simulation that I have set up in a DOP context, is there a way that the simulation can be distributed between multiple workstations? I haven't found anything about it in my search on the internet, so if someone could point me in the right direction or explain why it's not possible, that would be awesome!

Thanks!

i know hair can't because self-collisions, one hair will need the information of every other hair.
