Hello Guys!

I am new to Houdini and i have a question, that the teacher of the course i am doing can not answer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XgJ1oHBCn0 [www.youtube.com]

I am making this procedural race track in Houdini to use in Unreal. I wanted to try exporting and using this into Maya. Because at work we mainly use Maya, but when i use the HDA, into Maya i loose all the curve properties to modify the “race track”.

I am using Houdini 17.5.258 with Maya 2018.

I know this pipe Line its possible to use because we used to have a Houdini guy that made tools for us. One time he made me one that would generate stairs along a curve and i was able to modify the curve and the geo would update along that.

Do you guys know any tutorial that can teach me how to solve or do this?

Hi fedekendoka,

What do you mean by “curve properties”? Do you mean the CVs? HDA Parameters?

Hello, in Maya, when I select the Houdini Asset, in the attribute editor, under "input", it's empty. I need the particle age to be exported from Houdini to Maya, how should I do?

Ok I understood. The fact that "input" is empty does not mean the age attribute isn't there : https://www.sidefx.com/docs/maya/_maya__particle.html [www.sidefx.com]
