Consider my janky looking geometry and motion, could not finish it but learned many new things thanks to Houly contest, worked on something without tuts for the first time. Never used forum before, sorry for any mistakes made by me during submission process.

All the geometry comes from houdini and was created from scratch (except the body , i used the Luis Kruel body scan).

This is my entry for the Element: Earth theme. Boolean operations on Earth geometry. Point lattice and stars using instantiation. Space gas via volumes. Rendered with Redshift in Houdini and final image processed with Houdini's composition tools.

Seeing the themes earth, wind, water and fire I could only think of one thing!

First time I'm trying animation and simulation.
Quite different from the usual but a lot of fun!

First time really rendering inside of Houdini, as well as this, learning how to comp. Wish there was a way past the 1000 x 1000 limitation of the Apprentice version. Can't wait for the next 30 days though!
