Hello All,

I have been playing around with Subdiv Modeling in ZBrush but I far, far prefer working in Houdini, so the little video on the front page about being able to get this to work in the viewport was a nice surprise.

How can I get this to work? I couldn't seem to get the same result by applying a subdiv node in my node chain, so am wondering what the generally accepted workflow is for this style of modeling?

Any info would be great. Thank you.

The Vulkan viewport adds GPU-accelerated surface subdivision. This moves viewport subdivision from CPU to GPU, which improves performance and smooths edges and primitives. Use ⇧ Shift + = and ⇧ Shift + - to toggle subdivision on and off.
For subdivision surfaces, turn the Hulls parameter on and off (in the Display toolbar or Display Options window) to switch between the subdivided surface and the original unsubdivided control cage.
