Why isn't OpenCL working on the mac Houdini? I mean Apple developed it initially so surely it wouldn't be too hard to implement. Or am I mistaken and Apple only support it via Objective C?

The reason OpenCL is not supported on OSX is because it's very unstable on the Mac, and didn't show very large performance gains (compared to Windows/Linux, on both counts).
