Hello.
I have a sim where a sphere smashes into an invisible wall and shatters. I wanted the speed of the sim to change. First during impact I wanted it to be super slomo then later faster, almost real-time. I noticed that I cannot key change in the simulation scale time change (my maths head seems to wonder if this is because something can't work in the maths of animating parameters that would change the time step parameter, not Houdini missing functionality). So I've decided to render out 3000 frames of geo at slomo, so I could speed it up later in NUKE after rendering every 25th frame of the later frames.
I wonder however if there is a better way to do this?
Maybe not by changing time scale but by changing the speed of the timeline after I've rendered the geo out. Also it would be cool to have a gradual speed up rather than go straight from slomo to normal speed. How would I accomplish this?
Cheers,
5DN.
