Hi!
How you see, i have a stupid unknow error. Well, i dont know what it is. I found in a thread this forum the same problem someone has, but there is no reason for this error.
Some people say, the video driver is responsible for this error. But what shall i do? I have a Notebook with Intel Memor Shared. The notebook (1,6 Ghz, 512 mb ram) COuld someone help me.
Sorry for my worst english you've ever seen. ;-)

Hi,
You need to set an environment variable
HOUDINI_UI_QUEUE_SIZE
to something really big, like 1000000
On Windows that's somewhere in My Computer Properties, Advanced somethingerother
On Linux, just do
setenv HOUDINI_UI_QUEUE_SIZE 1000000
if you're using a C shell.
Considering this is a problem for almost everyone who uses Houdini I don't know why SESI don't just make the default a really big number.
Cheers,
Peter B
