When placing a node (any node) it takes 3-5 seconds to place

Is there any reason why placing a node in the obj window takes 3-5 seconds for it to appear?

what antivirus are you running? I had Malwarebytes running on my machine and had same issue, click on node place it and it takes about 3-5 seconds to appear, removed Malwarebytes and now placing nodes happens as fast as I can place them.
