If I use two different geometries (in my example a cube and a cylinder) the tags send over perfectly fine.
Only the Cube has the "test" tag and it shows up as a group in Houdini.
But if I change out the cylinder for another cube without changing anything else. The tag also gets written into the primitive data of the second cube. Even tough only the first cube contains the "test" tag. They both end up with the "test" group in Houdini.
Am I missing an obvious checkbox or did I stumble into a bug?
