the problem is that the rendering does not response. i have waited for hours and the rendering stopped at 1% without any progress. what's the reason? no pictures on mplay. i am working on mac, by the way.

Your scene renders perfectly fine here. About 5-10 seconds per frame. Are you sure you baked out your simulation on disk, before rendering? and switched render/display flag to materialsSOP?

Did you press Render button on /obj/circle_object1/rop_geometry1 SOP? This should be done before rendering, so simulation is saved on disk.

yes, i did baked out a simulation on disk. as for the flag, on which node should i turn on the flag? is it the material node? if it is, yes i did, but the problem remained unchanged.
