I'm looking at doing a new CPU build, and was curious as to what I lot of you guys are using, and what works well. (Motherboard, CPU, Video card, etc.) I know they they have the system requirements listed on the website, but user knowledge is far more valuable.

I'm sure someone will ask about my $ limit. I have a limit but I'll worry about a limit after I see what works well…. Just don't tell my wife!!

I'm not so sure my wife would look too kindly on me spending $3k on a computer to learn how to animate!! Especially not knowing if I could ever turn what skills I may have into a source if income. Don't get me wrong though, I sure would love to!

Buy a i7 2600k, some decent asus motherboard 16gb ram and a 2gb gtx 560ti and you have a pretty good rig for not as crazy much money.
