OpenGl error

Hey

I have a problem using the gl viewport in houdini 12, I'm using the latest production build. My problem is that when I start a new houdini session with gl turned on it works fine, but if I save the session and close houdini and start it up again I get a fatal error(segmentation fault). If i use houdini 11 viewport it works fine. I've installed the latest drivers, but nothing seems to work.

I'm running window 7 on a Intel Xeon 2.4 GHz

Houdini Master Version 12.0.634
Platform: windows-x86_64-cl15
Number of Cores: 24
Physical Memory: 11.99 GB

OpenGL Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL Renderer: Quadro 4000/PCIe/SSE2
OpenGL Version: 4.2.0
OpenGL Shading Language: 4.20 NVIDIA via Cg compiler
Detected: NVidia Professional
2048 MB
Unknown driver version

Anybody else have this issue. I also noticed that houdini don't recognise my drivers. Can this have something to do with the crashes?

Any help would be useful
Thanks

Which driver version are you using?

Also, you could try updating to the newest daily build (649) and see if that helps. There have been a handful of crash-related fixes made since then.

I'm using 296.70, and latest daily build has the same issues.

Try build 12.0.654. I wasn't able to reproduce the crash, but I did add some checks to suspect code.
