Desktop build GPU Suggestions

currently im in the process of building a desktop PC for using Houdini, Maya, and the Adobe Suite, as well as basic gaming, currently im looking into getting an Nvida gtx 680 GPU, but lately ive been thinking about a Tesla or Quadro card, anyone have any suggestions for my build?

would you use it “professional” wise???

If not, then have a look at the system requirements of the intended software.
a Tesla/Quadro would have a huge impact on your budget. save this for RAM!!!! 16+GB main and 2+GB for the GPU!

And yes,a gtx680 would be OK for H12, given you get one with 2+Gb.

I am fine with a laptop i7-2670QM(8GB)&GT630M(2GB) at the moment.

can't tell about Adobe/Autodesk…

i have a quadro fx 4000 and i love it, but if i was to go back in time id get a 680 with 4gbs instead.

after some thought i think im gonna stick with the 680 with 4gb of RAM just because of my budget y'all are awesome!
