Hi All,

My apprentice version of Houdini seems stable with all aspects of the program, apart from when I render anything using Mantra. As soon as I do the Hserver crashes and Houdini freezes. I am using version 8.0.319 on win XP. Has anyone else had similar problems?

Hi there,

Try a later build. There was an issue with some earlier versions of hserver that has since been fixed.

Thanks for the help. I though 8.0.319 was the latest version currently?

8.0.367 is the latest. Use the “Services” link at the top of the page & select “Downloads”.
