Without changing the default settings of Makefile, I'm having the following error:

I've manage to compile and install Open VDB to Houdini under Ubuntu 12.04, just pointing the zlib.h to Houdini's zlib folder. Everything is woking!

Can someone give me a solution to compile the library without using the $LD_LIBRARY_PATH after compilation to use the libraries?

Because right now mantra stop working if I set that variable, it says that can't find the license server.
