Hi, I'm new to Houdini but i have been finding little character and prop destruction tutorials. So here's a request or challenge on how to destroy an animated prop but leaving the handle still animated in the character hand.

I hope you see the need for more tutorials like that as I do. If there is any available already please post on this thread. Thanks for your help and participation. I'm using an older install of Houdini but will upgrade on my next big project so any version less than 18 would be great.

Here's a part 2 to the previous video. What I'd like to do is elaborate on how art directable the stunt can be.
I would art direct the stunt and then only fracture in Houdini (pre 18). I haven't found a lot of info so please feel free to drop a link or present any solution. Thanks.
