I'm having an issue with Detangle SOP, I have a braid mesh that I wanted to avoid self collisions with which Detangle is producing really bad weird results and I'm not sure why. My initial test with 2 cubes looks fine, where @pscale and @rest are used, but not this sweeped mesh. Any clue why?
The answer to this was to instead of using the backbone as the rest (I could have swore that I've done that way before and it worked fine), use a much thinner version of the sweep as the rest and the Detangle won't go crazy this way.
Not sure why the 0 scale mesh is a problem for the braid but not for the cube, where the rest position for all points of each cube is the same. But hey, I got my fix for this one.
