hello
i've problem with houdini when i creating a node like GEO , DOP and Stuff ...,it takes time to create node, it's show evaluating python in left below side
im using linux " rockylinux 8.4 "
and also i had this problem on centos 8.x before
i have'nt python 3.7 on my linux
im using latest nvidia driver 470.57.02 and cuda toolkit 11.4.1 ( i installed directrly from nvidia package manager on rockylinux )
whats problem ?

Did you try to install python 3.7? I think will do it. You might have to set a variable on launch to force it to use python3.7. I do the opposite and force python2.7 at launch.

Also there is a py2 version of Houdini if that helps. Not sure what your end goal is.

How is Rocky Linux btw?

module python 3.7 does not exist in official and 3rd party repository in rhel 8 , i pre-compiled before on my rockylinux machine , which one text should i set into hou.env file for running houdini with python3.7 as default ?
I think i had this problem with houdini py2.7 before

Rockylinux is replacement of CentOS
