I am using the new File Cache node in houdini 19, and I use the cache to disk in background option.
However, I don’t find any where to pause the simulation like previous version of houdini,which can be found in the Output layout.
Does anyone meet this problem? Or the only way is by saving the sim file?

It seems like we should be able to see the background task either in the render scheduler, tops, or have a pause/resume button next to cancel on the file cache node directly. This is a very common issue for anyone trying to switch between different work on their machine.
