Hi there, new to Apex rigging in Houdini, and there are things about it I really like, some that are odd, but the one thing that's been really bothering me that I haven't been able to figure out, is how to alter the default viewport settings. The skin geometry and controls appear to be in this kind of ghosted state, so that you can see shapes on the opposite side through everything, which makes it all look very busy and distracting. I'd like to have the skin geo fully occlude anything behind it.

And secondly, is it possible to not display the white bounding boxes for the controls and the shape geometry? Picture included to illustrate what I'm talking about...

Hi.
You can press P while in the viewer state to get the parameters dialog, then set the XRay Strength to 0.

I dont know why you are seeing bounding boxes though, do you still see them when you use the built in
electra character?

Ah, the X-Ray strength was exactly it, thanks so much! And yeah, I was only seeing the bounding boxes while building the character, but haven't seen it while animating, so that ended up not being an issue after I was done setting it up.
