I've only been learning Houdini in my program for about a month. I am really into NPR in unreal and blender so I was trying to do something similar here. Only had a few hours to do it and I couldn't quite figure out how to render it(rookie problems) so here is a screen shot.

going for some hatching effect with the normal and depth passes.

Yaay! Finally made it! Had my last day of a 4 Week Crunch on friday so getting started on a quick and dirty scene was so relieving.
Messiest scene I have created in a very long while ^^ Hope you like it.

Mardini 2026 – Day 01 – Plant

Day 01 done 🌱

A procedural dried tree built from a simple curve,
then pushed with noise for natural breakup.
Everything stays parametric and adjustable.

Excited to see where the next 30 days go.

Day01 Plant heres odish! 2nd time i'm doing mardini i don't know if ill be able to complete it this year though since imdoing my final project and i wont have a lot of time on my hands. Worth to try tho i learned a lot from it last year. also for some reason it seems my studdent liscence stopped working O.O .

I couldn't finish at all, unfortunately ran into a lot of crashes and side quests struggles xD
But also definitely learned a lot and will hopefully be faster for the next time!
