Hi,
Mantra should provide warnings that one has to use a shader from the Material palette or the shader has to have F if it detects the geometry is using a shader without F.
This warning message is not very helpful at all:
mantra: Aborting photon generation from light /obj/test due to an extremely low photon storage ratio. Try using a more accurate photon target.
I've tried to generate photons for at least a day before realising about 15 mins ago that the shader I'm using does not have F. As soon as I remove the shader, I got photons generation to work.
Please update the docs or improve Mantra's warning messages.
Thank you very much!
Cheers!
