Hi,

in the GUI, the “Parameter”- Pane and an area under the animation bar is colored in yellow, with strange flickering dots.

I didn't load any GUI modifications and did not update any graphics drivers since my last start of Houdini.

I am running on Vista64, Houdini V10.0.401.

I could live with that, if the yellow areas weren't flickering.

What graphics card and driver version are you using?

I think you should go download http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_winvista_64bit_191.07_whql.html [nvidia.com] as it is the latest WHQL Vista64 drivers for the 9 series of cards.
