can 2 different versions of Houdini co-exisit (in Mac OS X)?

can i install two different versions of Houdini so that once something doesn't work in one version i can still try in another version?

Of course. Multiple versions will happily show up under Applications.

Yeah !

That even works under windooz.
Thanks to the “self contained” nature of Houdini… all a certain version needs is in its own directory/folder. No DLL hell caused by houdini.

… my $0.02 …
If you can't script/program it, it's no good at all !

How do I install both versions?
When I download the application I only have 18 except I would also like 17.5 I have both licenses.
