H!
1) Is it possible to access the standard houdini light shader definition?
I want to modify the light apperance but do not want to build my own light shader from scratch. (So I want to create something simmilar to standard Light object).

2) Additional when I apply my own light shader to Light object it affects only point light type (when I switch to line, gridd, etc. it does not take any effect). Is it possible to affect these modes with light shader too?

Thank you!

Replacing ASAD light definition is what you do in such case. It won't work with area lights though, as these are all geometric lights and use surface shader instead. Take a look (again ) into vex/include directory for headers containing logic behind the scene (can't check it now for you which files are relevant, but you will easily find.

Cheers,
Skk.
