Hi I'm new to Houdini, and actually new to 3d animation as well, so please excuse the newbie question.
I need to create a really simple eye and lips on a face (sphere).
Can anyone tell me how to do this on a sphere?

you can do it with texturing - really simple

but better and still very simple would be using a Creep SOP
check the help card for eg files and ask if you have any questions.
