3ds to houdini vray workflow?

Trying to get static assets with semi complex vray materials into houdini for further work and rendering using vray. Have tried .vrscene export from 3ds briefly but it doesn’t seem to work very well No problems getting mesh data over. Just have not been able to import the materials and especially textures. Anyone had success or care to share some tips?

There was a bug/issue where uvs are not in @uv but rather in @uv1 by default when unpacked. Basically vrscene import works ok.

Unless i'm misunderstanding you could drop down a vertex wrangle with:

@uv = @uv1;
