Hi guys, Im learning Houdini and I made a wireframe terrain I want it to look like a basic hologram of a 3d map. Im rending it out but I can't work out why my renders look blurry and out of focus and not sharp like it looks in the scene view. I've played around with the camera setting that Im using to render from but no matter what I change it will always be blurry.
thanks heaps Iv already learnt a lot just form reading the posts
How are you making it look like a wireframe in mantra? Is it being converted to line geometry? If you're using the wireframe shader, that's probably why it's blurry; that shader is useless.

Hi mate, thanks for replaying. Im using a Carve node to give me the wireframe and a glow shader.
I suggest using Convert Line SOP and/or Polywire with a small width to get lines as geometry. This gives you better control over the thickness of the lines in the resulting render.
