This is just a simple sin/cos loop movement VEXed onto a point, with a trail SOP set to "connect as polys". Some added polylines plus a planarPatchFromCurve SOP, all pushed through the vellum solver. The color is also done with sin/cos and some exp()nentially great code lifted from the ripple SOP :)
