Originally from Italy, visual arts have been my passion for as long as I can remember.
I worked as photographer for several years and I joined the VFX industry 3 years ago.
I’m working as Senior Tech Artist at Triarts, creating tools and supporting artists.
I also founded NodeFlow, a Youtube channel supported by SideFX where I share educational content with the community.
In 2024 I was one of the few winners of the Rookies Contest, my work has been featured by NVIDIA, and I had the chance to publish articles regarding my art in leading platforms like 3D World, Creative Bloq, The Rookies & Think Tank Training Center.

Houdini 20.5 Karma MaterialX Normals/displacement 2025年5月31日7:47
Hi Stu, wiring Normal maps and Dispacement maps can be a little tricky using MaterialX.
1 - Import your images with a MtlX Tiled Image
2 - For the displacement map, change the signature to "Float"
3 - For the Normal map, change the signature to "vector3"
4 - While you can plug the Displacement already, the Normal map needs a MtlX Normal Map Node.
Check the attached image, I really hope this helps!

Hi everyone, first time participating in Mardini!
While I am still waiting for my indie license to be approved, here is my entry for Mardini 2025 Day 2 - furniture.
I used Curves to model the couch and a Vellum sim to make it fluffier, I also used Vellum for the pillows, all textures are from GreyscaleGorilla, rendered in Karma with Denoiser.
