Having an issue with Unreal Engine 4 Crash Reporter 2017年11月30日2:11
Hi, I'm using
Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Unreal version: 4.18.1 (and this happens to me with 4.17.2 also). Both downloaded via Epic Launcher, not github.
Houdini version: tried both houdini-16.5.308 and houdini-16.5.268 (this one by manually adding the plugins to Engine/Plugins/Runtime for Unreal Engine 4.18).
The thing is, if I enable Houdini Plugin inside Edit->Plugins then I stop getting the “Unreal Engine 4 Crash Reporter” after any crash, it reacts to the crash as if I had just closed the program without giving me any more info, and if I disable the houdini plugin I get it back (this happens without any Houdini objects in the project).
I tested this both with actual game code crashes and by typing “debug crash” as a console command. Basically, I don't know if this is a bug or if there is a particular configuration for the Unreal Engine 4 Crash Reporter to work normally. If this is indeed a bug then repro would be create a 4.17.2 or 4.18.1 project, enable Houdini Plugin, and then type “debug crash” as a console command .
So any suggestions or help is appreciated.
