This is for old cops, correct?

You can switch to the Old UI temporarily in Edit Preferences::UI::Old UI. Restart and then you'll have the old preference menu, which contains the Old COP preferences. You can set them there.

That said, the HOUDINI_COP_MAXRES should also have that effect.

We haven't knowingly changed anything in old cops for 22, so it is disappointing to hear that it is now crashing with that set :<

Please submit a bug with a the reproducible setup and we can see what oversight occurred.

UPDATE - half solved it? - I've realized I can set this as an env variable.

HOUDINI_COP_MAXRES = 16384


BUT, now instead of an error I get a crash. Would appreciate any insight as I've tested this exact scenario in H21 and it works fine

I'm having trouble loading a 16K texture into a heightfield file sop.

Digging down into the network, the error is clear "Image Resolution too large. See Settings->Main Preferences->Compositing to change the limit."

Problem is... when I go to edit - preferences ... I don't see a compositing tab.

In H21, I changed this by going:
Edit->Preferences->Old Compositor->Cooking->Resolution Limit

In H22, that path is also gone. There is Edit->Old Compositor Settings, but that doesn't have resolution limit settings either?
