Hi,
First I'm not a pro, just a hobbyist.
I'm on Arch Linux and KDE 6.4, only modeling stuff and some rendering test with Karma xpu, nothing fancy but since a few weeks no more crashes at all even after hours of work. Before Houdini was unusable on Wayland for me.
I think that Arch is not used in production pipeline, just to say that it seems that the Houdini crews are on the good way.
Thanks for your time.
Houdini works flawlessly.
H20 usd camera not updated when render setting changed. 2023年12月30日5:15

Hi Im on H20.0.547 and found that if I ref/sublayer a usd camera, then change resolution in render setting. The camera crop will not update in viewport. I've checked the same usd file in H19.5 and it updated correctly. It will render to disk and mplay correctly, but this make viewport ipr useless.
works fine here with 20.0.555
I don't have a usd file to sublayer, but creating a camera node does effectively the same thing.
Creating a camera node works fine in this case, only explicit ones have this problem (including alembic sublayer).
On further investigation, I found that it has something to do with htoa (latest version for 20.0.547) and only Windows build.
My home machine is Linux Mint with same Hou and Htoa version, and doesn't have this problem.
Disabled the plugin and the problem went away. Now I have to find other workarounds.

My current workaround is to use Obj Alembic Archive and set the resolution there first. Then use scene import.
Is there any change in how we edit the camera loaded from USD files or this is a known bug?
