When viewing particles as discs in the viewport, the alpha channel doesn't show up. Do I need to set something differently in Houdini 20.5?

Whether I use a Copy SOP for instancing, bring in proxy data as instances, or use an Instance node, is motion blur not possible with volume data? Motion blur is applied, but the motion blur scale cannot be adjusted.

Display of DOP Net was turned off, but simulation is happening automatically. Is there a way to disable this feature? I don't know what I touched, but even though the DOP Net node is not displayed, simulation is occurring...
