simple question but how do you rotate a GU_detail? like the same as gdp->translate()

how do you get the vertex data from an an abject from the houdini viewport. I want to render an object and then display it in a vr headset

I know that the Houdini Re library is a wrapper around opengl but how do you create VBO and VAO. In the end I want to get VAO and VBO from houdini so that i can render it on an HMD.
