I'm creating render-time grass using the hairgen node, but having difficulty getting the curves to render as ribbons instead of tubes. I believe I'm correctly setting the Normal and width attributes, and by curves are basis curves in Solaris. I know I'm missing something, I just haven't been able to figure out what. I'm working on a project and using Karma XPU to render. However, whether I render as a png or exr, my final render looks way darker than what I see in my viewport. Since I'm currently in the lighting phase of my project, this is a really frustrating issue. I'm not sure if I'm just missing a checkbox in my render settings or if I have a bigger issue. I'd really appreciate some help with this problem if anyone has any ideas!

This is definitely a newbie question, but I've got an attribute VOP applying some noise to animated geometry, and the noise is "swimming" over the geo when it moves. From what I've gathered, I know that I need a rest attribute, but I'm not sure how/where to apply it in my stream. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
