Hi, I'm working with the pyro fx in Houdini and the image renders fine in the render view. However the fire does not render when I try to output my renders. Frames are produced, just the fire and smoke are not visible.

I'm using the same mantra node for render view and for my batch render. Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

hmm… I changed from outputting png's to tif's and now it render's fine.

odd..

PNGs are saved unpremultiplied as per the PNG spec, so if you have color where Alpha is zero, it'll disappear in a PNG.
