Hola,

I am using H11 on Win7 x64. Unfortunately, my mouse (off the shelf Logitech) supports a functionality named sidescrolling. This means slight movement into the left or right on the middle mouse button (wheel) cause events.

In Houdini, sidescrolling starts the animation playback…and depending on what I am currently doing in the scene this can be very annoying or sometimes just hang Houdini.

Is there any opportunity to toggle that off in Houdini?

Who on earth needs sidescrolling that much they are putting in in virtually every mouse on the market?

What it is probably doing is mapping wheel->left to the UpArrow or LeftArrow key (and same for down or righ). There may be a way in the logitech control panel to change the key mapping for the sidescrolling, or disable it altogether. Alternatively, you can use the hotkey manager (Edit > Hotkeys) to remap the playback keys (select Houdini in the first column, then Play Forward, Backward in the second). However, you're probably better off trying to disable it on the mouse first.
