constant smoke from fast moving source

Hello guys. I have this sphere that moves very quickly as a source for my fluids and therefore leaves a stepping trial of smoke where it should be constant.

On the pyrosolver node (wispy smoke preset), I raised the max substeps to 10 but I get the same result as if it was set to 1.

Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you in advance

If you are using $F for your animation switch to $FF, otherwise substeps wont work.

You should change it where you do your animation of your emitter.

I am animating a sphere with a couple of transform nodes. I keyed the values, nowhere I use nor see a $F.

Did a quick test. I fixed it here by adjusting Sub Steps on the AutoDopNetwork.
