Hello friends!
I am working on collapsing a tower. And my question is. Is there a way of driving fractured geometry by a particle emitter?
What i am trying to achieve is this effect: http://www.nshatter.com/ruins3.0/ruins3.0.html [nshatter.com]
This example uses a bomb field to “throw” the geometry away. And I thought it could work with a particle emitter also
Thank you very much indeed for your time and help

You don't need a particle emitter, if you just animate the point velocity of a pre-fractured object in a sequential manner you'll get the same effect.
It might not be as simple as moving a handle through the geometry but it's more flexible and not as hard as one might think…

Thank you very much rafaels
Ok, could you give me a kind of guidance on how to approach this?
My approach at this point would to make this building breakable, then group the fractured pieces and animate their velocity.
But (there is always a “but” ) I don't know how to do this
Thank you very much for your time
