How do I go about doing this in Houdini? I've been learning Modeling and Lighting/shading, I'm new in other stuff. Thanks for your time!

Uhm. I can think of a few ways to go about this depending ib what you are going for, but how about using fluids? Peter Quinn has some good tutorials on fluids

You could do it manually with a Lattice SOP. Just an option.
