When you try to drag a material from the material palette onto a parameter in the parameters pane, you get this:
The material is added to the existing node selection, as shown by the parameters pane: “2 nodes selected”. The parameters pane also gets pinned.
Is this by design or a bug?
Another issue is, I think if you only drag a material, the parameter's pane shouldn't show the material's parameters, unless you click the material without dragging. This is also how the Operator Tree View behaves.
