Ok so here's my dilemma. Everytime i go to make a basic pyro fx effect, the up res nodes arent there along with the switch node and some of the other ones that are suppose to go along with it. What i get instead is (refer to picture)…If anyone could shed some light on what im doing wrong id really appreciate it

That's correct. The Houdini 12 pyro-shelf workflow is changed. Upres is available from the shelf.
