I seem to be having problems using Houdini 7.0.231 with my NISIS tablet.

I can only run Houdini for a few minutes before houdini decides to crash. This can only be resolved by removing the drivers for the tablet. The error window explains that wintab32.dll is the culprit.
I don't intend to use the tablet in houdini, but it would be nice to not have to uninstall the drivers every time I need to go into it.

Is anyone else havinig these issues, and have they found a work around?

That's the first I've heard of it. Maybe you could persuade the makers of your tablet to download Apprentice and fix the crash.

Maybe I should stick to Wacom and make my life easier.

This will solve your dll problem and will repair it if it is corrupt.
