Hey guys, I asked this in the Unreal 4 thread but I may get a better answer here.
I am generating a Lsystem and then attaching a metaball to it, I can't get it right.

I need to smooth that, this is my setup.

should be smooth by default
make sure your viewport display is set to Smooth Shaded to see that

Like tamte said, it should be smooth. When you middle-mouse-click on the convertmeta sop you see that it creates a point normal attribute N. Maybe it's a display driver related issue then ?
I just exported it as obj and got it into Unreal without any problems.
