Hiya,
I'd like to format the output of my HE Asset so that the resulting geometry is formatted into a transform hierarchy in Maya. Is this possible?
I'd like something along the lines of:
|—Main_Group
| |—-Group 1
| |—-Group2_1
| | |—-MESH1
| |—-Group2_2
| | |—-MESH2
| |—-Group2_3
| | |—-MESH3
| |
…

There's no way to do that right now. To output a hierarchy, it probably makes the most sense if Houdini Engine can preserve the Object hierarchy, but currently, Houdini Engine flattens the object hierarchy. We might be able to look into this in the future.
I suppose using some sort of “path” attribute to organize geometries into a hierarchy could be useful too.
