Previously I was running windows 7 home and houdini apprentice with no problems. I just upgraded to windows 1 and downloaded houdini apprentice three times. Each time I try to run it I get a windows dialog saying it's blocked a potentially dangerous file. If I click to continue I then get an error message saying that the file is corrupted and unreadable. Anyone know a way around this? Thanks.

I'm having the same issue and I need apprentice for a class. I may have to drop it if I can't figure this thing out.

Maybe you got a bad package. Re-download from http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_download&task=apprentice&Itemid=208 [sidefx.com]

OK so I tried installing a previous build of 15 and it worked fine. I grabbed version 15.0.244.16 from here:

http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_download [sidefx.com]

As stated previously by jerry7, it's probably a bad package or something.

Thanks, that worked. Hope the next release is compatible with Win10 but this will work for now.
